The GY-BME/BMP280-3.3 Precision Altimeter Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Module is designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements of temperature, humidity, and pressure. Featuring the Bosch Sensortec BME/BMP280 sensor, this breakout board is ideal for a wide range of environmental monitoring applications. The module supports both I2C and SPI digital interfaces, making it compatible with various microcontrollers and development platforms.
The breakout board includes selectable I2C address jumpers (solder link GS2), I2C pull-up resistors (R2, R3) with a value of 10k, a 7-pin header (2.54mm), and two mounting holes (3.5mm). The default setting for the board is a single power rail configuration with Vdd=Vdd_IO (solder link GS1). The board also features decoupling capacitors (0.1uF) on both power supply pins (Vdd & Vdd_IO) to ensure stable operation. If you connect the board to both power rails (VDD_IO 1.8V and VDD 3.3V), be sure to remove the power rail jumper GS1.
This sensor module is perfect for various environmental monitoring applications, including weather stations, indoor climate control, and altimeter functionality. Its precise measurements and compatibility with I2C and SPI interfaces make it easy to integrate into different projects and systems.
